Law enforcement and private security guards spent the early hours of Friday morning telling people to get into their homes as the 21-day national lockdown begins in South Africa. Cars were pulled over and pedestrians questioned between midnight and 3am as to why they weren’t in their homes. The country will remain on lockdown for the next 21-days with supermarkets, pharmacies and health facilities still remaining open.
