Nairobi CBD turning into hawkers paradise

City motorists are finding it more difficult to navigate through roads in the CBD following the rise of hawkers who sell their wares on the roads.
Hawkers leave the sanctuary of the market and camp at the roadside to attract customers. As dangerous as it may be, they take up close to three-quarters of the road leaving vehicles to cramp themselves on one lane of the road.
Pedestrians walking on pavements have also been forced to learn the art of walking meticulously, for a wrong step can land your foot on a pile of tomatoes being sold.
